Once checked in and cleared customs it only takes 35 minutes from Calais to Folkestone; this is the most efficient way to travel between France and the UK. This allows you to stay seated with your pet in the comfort of one of our vehicles. There is also the facility of a pet exercise area.

We can travel all over Europe, please get in touch if you have a specific destination. Our most popular pick up points are CDG Airport in Paris, Amsterdam Airport in Netherland, Brussels Airport in Belgium or Frankfurt Airport in Germany. We often pick up from London, Zurich or Nice.

This is not allowed. The only way is for your pet to travel cargo, which is complicated and very expensive.

You can fly into most european airports with small pets in the cabin, larger pets can travel excess luggage on the same flight as you and disembark the flight at the same time as you. This option is surprising cost effective and a much nicer experience for your pet.

Each transfer is different as this will depend on the destination, but if you are going from Paris to London for example, this usually takes around 6 hours.

We specialise in meeting our clients at any European airport, as our drivers have a lot of experience in travelling abroad. Just let us know your particular train station or airport.

If you are taking your pet abroad, you must check the requirements of the country you are travelling to, to make sure you have everything in place and to also make sure that your pet is going to be safe. All pets must have a microchip and a rabies vaccination to allow an EU Health Certificate to be issued. The Health Certificate is issued 21 days after the rabies vaccination, so it is vital to ensure you plan ahead.

Pets On Their Own

Although we specialise in relocations we do hold both EU & UK Type 2 approval for Journeys over 8hrs on 4 of our Mercedes Vitos.

Our office staff and drivers hold the relevant Certificates of Competence for EU transport to operate in this area. We don’t offer shared transport though only bespoke transfers for up-to 5 pets so we can’t and don’t try to compete on price with large transporters carrying up-to 20 pets involving multiple drops.

We work with various UK animal charities and we can also undertake Non Commercial moments which involve EU Pet Agents and the closing of T1 transit documents.

EU & UK Type 2 approved Pet Transport Vehicles

We hold DEFRA Type 2 authorisation to transport pets issued by the UK government – this is the highest level – not all pet transporters have this!. A Type 2 licence allows us to transport pets on road journeys up to and over 8 hours in duration.

This large estate vehicle can accomodate upto 3 passengers plus your pet and luggage.

We have four extra long versions of these vehicles and it is simply the most luxurious and largest vehicle you could ask for. These vehicles can accommodate upto six passengers plus luggage and pet carriers.

Mercedes E Class

This large estate vehicle can accommodate upto three passengers plus your pet and luggage.

Volkswagen Sharan

This medium sized MPV can accommodate upto four passengers plus ample room for luggage and large sized crates.

How Do I Book?

Once you’re happy with our quote and have all the details of your trip confirmed (flight number, arrival time and date and airport, pick up time and city/town in Europe/UK, how many pets and passengers and luggage) we will send you our booking email with the Eurotunnel payment link attached. As soon as we receive your payment, we will book the Eurotunnel and secure your booking with us.

How Can I Pay?

You can pay by any card via our 3D secure payment links or by a bank transfer. We take the Eurotunnel deposit payment first and the rest of the fare can be paid up to 2-3 days prior to your journey.

Can I Reschedule?

Yes we don’t charge for rescheduling and will even offer a full refund if you can’t travel at all.
